Visit Turkey 3rd & 4th day (final day)

Anyway, there is not much to tell what happened on the third day because we took a trip to Bosphorus by a small boat and everyone turned out dizzy. The air was very thin and below zero degrees, I started to have cold and flu. So in the evening, we went to the Grand Bazaar to buy few things to bring back home. It was raining throughout the evening, and we didn't even bother to snap pictures.

Part (!!!) of the souvenirs

My favourite of them all- Turkish tea set

Bag for my mum-in-law

T-Shirts : must-buy-souvenirs

Pashminas for my sisters

The fourth day, we went to Dolmabahce Palace, a more recently occupied palace in which Mustafa Kemal Attaturk was the last to live in that palace. It is situated at the very edge of Bosphorus, and even though it is very cold, and I started to get sick; I managed to go and had a wonderful time there.

In front of the palace

See the arch back there-it is an immediate entrance to the sea!

This wall is covered with REAL gold..pheww!!

Beautiful decor in the hall..

Some of the exhibited dinner setting

Gold plated dinnerware..

After the visit, I can no longer walk steadily hence I walked straight to the hotel while Nazrin resume shopping. It was a wonderful visit indeed if not because of the weather. Well, to those planning to visit Turkey, it is better to do it in summer instead. The air is too cold in winter and it rains every minute, the full ingredients needed to get sick during the vacation; which is something you don't want to have when all you think of is having fun.. hehehe..
